Makar Sakranti marks the beginning of spring season and is celebrated to honour the sun. This festival is also famous for kites. In our Global Public School, this festival was also celebrated with great vigour. The students made beautiful kites and pasted on their scrap books. Their pictures depicted their love for the festival and they called out loudly,
"May this harvest festival shower us with blessings to be success and prosperous in whatever we do."
