To educate students about the growing concerns surrounding electronic waste and the importance of proper disposal and recycling practices, Global Public School conducted an 'E-Waste Workshop' on July 29, 2024. The workshop was organized by Mr. Samvit Paliwal, the founder of Hulladek PWL Pvt. Ltd. and Ms. Priyasha Singhania, Chief Marketing Officer at Hulladek Recycling who has been involved in waste management practices for the past five years.
The workshop began with an informative session on what constitutes e-waste. The presenter explained the types of electronic waste, including old computers, mobile phones, televisions, and other electronic gadgets. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, where students asked insightful questions about e-waste and its management. The presenter addressed their queries and provided practical tips on reducing e-waste at a personal level.
Principal Ma'am praised their efforts and congratulated them. The school expressed its gratitude to the organizers.
